Creative Concept
For this project, I wanted to execute a simple and effective design using a neutral tone pallet and mostly graphical-based design elements. I incorporated both geometrical and organic shapes as well as linear elements into my design through the use of an illustration tablet. I wanted to incorporate a wide range of brown shades in my work to speak to the central theme of diversity in the article. The overall layout of the grid and text were designed around the shapes and forms on the page.
